Boroko Primary School celebrates 40 years of Independence

Boroko Primary school celebrated our country’s 40th Independence with colourful cultural and traditional attires.

Students dressed in their respective provinces, enjoying dancing and singing songs from their regions with pride and anticipation.

Parents and family members played a big part during this celebration.  They dressed their children in their traditional attires, cooked traditional foods and danced along with their children during the cultural show parade.

During the welcoming remarks Grade Eight teacher Daniel Siwanene said “:Let the kundu’s beat from the southern coastal shores to the highlands with celebrations to mark our 40th Independence.

The school grounds was decorated in our nation’s colours of black, yellow and red with students and their families enjoying the day with food stalls, craft markets and the main cultural show of all our 22 provinces.
