Women's Ministries

The Salvation Army has always affirmed the value of women in ministry. Our history is filled with the results of women who have made a positive difference in their homes, corps, communities and the world. Salvation Army churches offer many service opportunities for women

The women ministries have a Home League program in place and this meeting for women are held in every Salvation Army Church and Fellowship in this Territory, and is based on the four point purpose of:

  • Worship to God,
  • Fellowship with other women,
  • Education about home and family matters and
  • Service to the community and those who have individual needs. Home Leagues in this Territory have been instrumental in bringing people to Christ and in many cases, becoming members of the local church or fellowship.

Junior Miss

is for girls from 13 to 21 years of age, held once a week in our Churches and Fellowships. They come together and learn skills training, Bible Study and enjoy camps.
