Youth Prayer Retreat at Gaire                                                          

  ‘A person on his knees can stand before anyone’ was the theme for the South Central   Division Youth prayer retreat at Gaire which was attended by one hundred and sixty plus young people. Guest speakers for the weekend were Bro Raggah & Sis Coral Sibby YP leaders of Koki Church).   It was a God glorifying weekend which saw more than 70 young people who came forward to the mercy seat.

During the two days sessions the young people were taught about the ‘Foundations of Prayer’ and ‘What prayer is’. The sessions were interactive and practical as campers not only learned but participated as well.

On Saturday a video was shown titled ‘War room’ which depicted the lifestyle of a modern young family encountering problems and how the young mother finds a Christian who teaches her how to pray. The movie challenged young people as they were reminded of their prayer life.

Holiness meeting on Sunday by Bro Raggah saw many young people coming to the mercy seat for commitment & recommitment.

A wonderful prayer retreat which refreshed and renewed the hearts of the young people.
