The Salvation Army is part of the Christian Church. Its members are motivated by the love of God to give spiritual and practical help to all people.
All those attending The Salvation Army Papua New Guinea, would like to invite you to experience purpose, meaning, peace and fulfilment that Jesus has promised.

God loves You
God created the world, He created us to live in harmony and friendship with Him to show that He loves us.
All have sinned
God gave us a choice to follow Him or go live as we want to. When we chose to live our way, this usually means breaking God's rules. Romans 3v 23 "Everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence." Usually when we break rules, we are punished. Jesus has taken the punishment we deserve.
Jesus died for you
God sent Jesus to live and die for us - Jesus took on Himself all the wrong things we've said, done and thought. 1 Peter 3v 18 "For Christ died for sins once and for all, a good man on behalf of sinners, in order to lead you to God."
Romans 5v 8 "But God has shown us how much he loves us- it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us".
You need to decide to live for God
Wanting to live God's way includes realising you have sinned, knowing Jesus has taken your punishment and accepting God's gift of salvation.
John 3v16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life"
Are you ready to live God's way and ask Jesus Christ into your life? If so, tell God your need for Him in your life. Ask Him, if you're not sure what to say, use the following prayer. Remember God is more concerned with your attitude than the exact words you say.
Dear Jesus, I believe you died for me. Thank you for being my Saviour, I am sorry for my sins. I know God has forgiven me. I know I am a member of God's family, because I know that God's Holy Spirit lives within me. Amen.
