 60th Anniversary Logo Competition

 Dear Officers, Salvationists and Friends of The Salvation Army,

 The 60th Anniversary Congress Planning Committee is requesting expression of interest (EOI) from any interested people from the Army community to submit their logo design for the Army’s 60th Anniversary Celebrations. The General has chosen the theme for the 60th Anniversary Celebrations and it is “Right at the heart”.

 When your logo is selected it will be used in all the anniversary materials leading up to and during the congress period.

 A winner’s reward of K500.00 will be received by the winning entry.

The second best entry will receive K300.00 and

The third best entry will receive K200.00.

 Entries are open to anyone, including:

• students and teachers of SA schools around the country

• employees of SA institutions

• Officers, soldiers, adherents and friends from any SA institutions, churches and fellowships

 Some brief on the logo design:

• The Army will be celebrating 60 years of its existence in PNG so your logo can be centered around this.

• Your logo must be simple and represent the Army in PNG

• Your logo must represent the Army’s main activities based on Social Services, Humanitarian Services, and the spreading of Gospel Message.

• Your logo also reflect on the theme for the congress “Right at the heart”.

• Please give a brief about your logo – eg. Why you use a symbol etc and bearing in mind to use the Army colours: Red, Yellow and Blue as much as possible in your design.

 

Note: Do note that the congress planning committee’s decision will be final.
