Kwikila Literacy Program

Kwikila is a small station where mostly public servants reside; people from nearby villages visit the station due to the local food market, supermarkets and children travelling to and from to attend Schools (Elementary, Primary & Secondary).

This is a much needed ministry all over the country where 50% of children do not attend school.  Literacy classes are extremely valuable.

The Literacy program in Kwikila is a much needed ministry where 50% of children do not attend school.   Parents from the community of Kwikila are committed to bringing their children to the Literacy Program.

School Materials

The school is supported by donors but is also fully supported by the parents.   They buy school learning materials for their children. This has convinced the church to build a separate shelter for the learning since they have been using divisional conference room as a classroom.classroom Kwikila

Not only children from that community attend the school but also children from the nearby villages travel with their parents to and from every day.

10 children from the 2014 Graduating class have been accepted to the local Elementary School in 2015.
